I am looking for a fic where RayV becomes extremely angry with Fraser after Irene Zuko's death. He blames Fraser and as a result of RayV's actions, Fraser gets thrown out of the RCMP and deported to Canada. He ends up with a menial job and meets a nice woman (I think named Chantal) in Quebec, IIRC. Ray's mother eventually prevails upon him to fix this, and Fraser is able to get back his job.

Anybody remember this one?

I have been trying without success to remember the author or title of the story where Ray K. and Fraser lie on the floor under Ray’s Christmas tree looking up through the branches. I want to say there’s mention of a cartoon orchestra or band, and there may also be dancing. I know it, but somehow my brain is refusing to pull up the details. Thanks in advance for any help!

Was there a fic where RayK became a drug addict as the result of an abduction?  It might have been a case-gone-wrong, though if I'm remembering correctly he did -not- take the drugs willingly to protect a cover but was injected against his will.  The story focused more on the aftermath, including rehab and the impact it has on F/K.

Does this one ring any bells?  I hope this isn't one of those stories that has dropped off the web.

I'm looking for a post-CoTW Fraser/RayK; I know they were in Canada, and I think Fraser has PTSD, and he freaks out and has a flashback when Ray gets wounded. He ends up calling in Eric(?) and they do a sweat together. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Sorry it's not much to go on.

I was hoping someone could help me with a fic *duh self* Anyway, in it, Ray V is in Las Vegas undercover, and is called back to Chicago because Ray K was killed. I dont think he stayed dead though. It was Fraser/Ray K. Hopefully someone will be able to point me in the right direction

I'm searching for a fic I read more then a year ago and want to re-read and bookmark. The following is what I remember about it:

~Was Fraser/RayK
~Set Post-CoTW
~They were both in Canada after the big adventure.
~They were together
~Apparently Fraser liked the town they were in and was either thinking of being stationed there or already informed this was his new post.
~They were house hunting, I remember that for some reason RayK though Fraser was getting a house for himself and that once decided it was time to Ray to head back to the US cause Fraser hand not actually asked Ray explicitly to stay and live with him, but they worked it out.
~Also it was noted pointed out to Ray that all the houses were on stilt-type things and pipes went between houses above ground to keep things from freezing and from melting? or messing up the frozen ground layers.

The fic that I'm looking for is Fraser/RayK, and I'm pretty sure it's post-CoTW; the only thing I remember is that a local guy who develops the film for him is really impressed and tells him he should go pro, but he's leery about the whole idea. Seriously though, that's all I remember; I only got into this fandom a few months ago, and I've read so many fics I can't keep track anymore. :P

This isn't actually a fic I've read, more one that I've heard of and would like to read but can't find. Hope that's O.k. The title is "Gone The Way Of Bellbottoms and Disco" and it's by someone called Estrella30. Unfortunately I can't find either the fic or the author. Any help gratefully recieved.

So, I read this RayK/Fraser story a long while back.

I think I remember Ray and Fraser in a hotel room. Some gangsters or something have them locked up in a room.

They're trying to escape, but the gangsters walk in and Fraser kisses Ray, pretends that's what the noise was.

I'm vague now if that's the end. Unless I'm mixing it with another story, Fraser and Ray drop out of the window to the floor below, where the owner of the building lives? She's an older woman who's unhappy with the guy renting the floor above.

Pretty rubbish memory I know!

I am looking for a story I read probably ten years ago (!) on the old Squidge/Hexwood archive that involved the following elements:

- angst relating to Fraser's inability to handle deep emotional/physical connections from...
- how his grandparents raised him (there was definite emotional/psychological abuse, maybe physical)
- there was a scene with a tub (maybe?)
- Fraser was slapped at one point by Vecchio's mother because of how he was treating a visiting family member's kid (but he didn't know any better)
- he eventually admits to some traumatic (in retrospect/or after speaking with another person about what is normal and acceptable) childhood memories
